District Conference

Mt. Olive hosted the Hartford District Conference 2017 under the innovative leadership of Rev. Dr. Terry L. Jones, Sr.  Here are some pictures from the Opening Day.

Baby Contest

Mt. Olive celebrated its youngest members during their Baby Contest.  We pray that God keeps them, blesses them and allows them to grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

Mass Meeting

Hartford District Mass Meeting was hosted at Mt. Olive under the faithful leadership of Lillian Reason, District President of the Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society. On this day, Mt. Olive's 3D Dance Ministry danced during the Youth Round-Up, had 6 members stoled Life Members and Matrons by the General Life Members Chair Vanessa Clayton, and honored Carolyn Humphrey during the Margie J. Bonner Women of Excellence Luncheon.  To God be the Glory.

Ministry Fair
 
"Stepping Up to Serve" highlighted the work of the various ministries of our church and invited members to join auxiliaries in which they can use the gifts and talents God has given them.

MLK Day 2017
The combined MLK Day Service of Grace Baptist, Mt. Olive and Zion Baptist drew a number of worshippers.  Rev. Reese, pastor of the Grace Baptist Church asked the question "Who Will Cry Out".

Rev. H.D. Bonner Park
 

On Saturday June 14, 2014 at 3:00 p.m., the City of Waterbury dedicated Pearl Street Park, also known as ABC Park, to the Rev. Dr. Harrison D. Bonner.The park consists of a gazebo, play station for preschoolers, an exercise and entertainment pad, and a paved walkway. Dr. Bonner served as the pastor of Mt. Olive for close to 40 years.
